Privacy Policy

Overview

Setit is designed so that your workout plans, classes, streak settings, and appearance preferences remain saved on your device. Account services are provided through Firebase Authentication, and Google Calendar access is optional.

Information Setit handles

Account information

When you create or use an account, Setit may handle your name, email address, account identifier, profile information, and sign-in provider. Account authentication is provided by Firebase Authentication. Setit does not receive or store your Google or Apple password. Passwords for email and password accounts are handled by Firebase Authentication. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, Apple may provide a private relay email address to Setit.

Workout and preference data

Your workout plans, workout completion status, classes, consistency goals, streak information, theme choice, and accent color are stored locally on your device. This planner data is separated by account on that device and is not uploaded to Setit's own database.

Google Calendar information

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Setit requests permission to create and manage a calendar made by Setit. It uses this permission to create, update, and remove workout events in the “Setit Workouts” calendar. Google Calendar connection tokens are stored on your device.

How information is used

Setit uses information only to:

• Create and manage your Setit account.
• Keep planner data separated between accounts on your device.
• Display your profile and training summary.
• Send account verification, email-change, and password-reset messages when requested.
• Sync workouts with Google Calendar when you enable that feature.
• Respond to support and privacy requests.

Service providers

Setit relies on services supplied by Google and Apple:

• Firebase Authentication provides account creation, sign-in, account security, and account deletion.
• Google Sign-In provides optional Google account authentication.
• Sign in with Apple provides optional Apple account authentication on iPhone.
• Google Calendar provides optional workout calendar synchronization.

These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Setit may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, protect users, or prevent fraud or misuse.

Storage, security, and retention

Planner data is retained on your device until you remove it, clear the app's data, delete the app, or delete your Setit account. Firebase retains account information as needed to provide authentication until the account is deleted, subject to Google's applicable retention practices.

Setit uses reasonable safeguards and trusted platform services to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Your choices

• You can use Setit locally without connecting Google Calendar.
• You can disconnect Google Calendar from Settings.
• You can change eligible account details or request a password reset from within Setit.
• You can delete your Setit account from the bottom of Settings.

Deleting your account removes the Firebase account and planner data stored by Setit on that device. Events already created in Google Calendar may remain in your Google account until you delete the events or the “Setit Workouts” calendar through Google Calendar.

Children's privacy

Setit is a general-audience workout planner and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through Setit, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Setit changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published. Material changes may also be communicated in the app when appropriate.
